Adaptogens

Adaptogens make up a pharmacological group of preparations (substances, compounds or herbs) which increase nonspecific body resistance to a wide range of harmful effects, including physical, chemical and biological ones, and therefore enhance performance and intelligence level. The main indications for use include increased fatigue, stress, anorexia and sexual dysfunction. Adaptogens are also used to increase physical endurance, facilitate the acclimatization process, prevent catarrhal diseases as well as to accelerate the recovery process after passing through the acute phase of the disease.
